This page lists the recent updates to The Pouch and the date on which each one was made. Here, you can quickly find out what's new since you last visited.

News! [15 December 1999] Added results from a number of tournaments to the Results section, including the results from WDC2. Also be sure to check out the Swedish Results page, which has been updated with results from about a dozen new conventions.

News! [13 December 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information about PrezCon and Winter War 27!

News! [7 December 1999] Updated the ADR Grand Prix Page, to reflect points awarded from several recent Tournaments. Added to the results pages results from a variety of recent tournaments, including the 1999 Swedish National Championship, and the 1999 World Boardgaming Championship.

News! [6 December 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information about several new conventions, including WDC X!

News! [2 December 1999] Added a new map for the Wraparound variant to the maps and variants pages.

News! [30 November 1999] Added new maps for the Abberation, Empire 4, and Modern variants to the maps and variants pages.

News! [29 November 1999] The Fall 1999 Retreat issue of The Zine is (finally!) published!

News! [21 November 1999] Added PDF versions of the maps for the Asia, Loeb9, Modern, Necromancer and Youngstown variants to the maps and variants pages.

News! [20 November 1999] Made the showcase section slightly more navigable and added links to archives containing the whole of each showcase.

News! [4 November 1999] Added PDF versions of the following maps to the maps and variants pages: standard, 2 Aberration maps, Chromatic, Colonial, Hoplite Wars, Hundred, Machiavelli (versions 1 and 2), Middle Earth, Mediterranean, Milan, 2 RootZ maps, South East Asia, Woolworth, and 2 Wraparound maps. Also added new gif versions of the Milan and World 2 variants to the maps and variants pages.

News! [2 November 1999] Updated the American Diplomacy Ratings page, after being updated with new results.

News! [27 October 1999] Added over a dozen strategy articles on Colonial Diplomacy to the Variants Strategy Articles page.

News! [26 October 1999] Added a gif version of the POV ray tracer map to the maps page, and added the 1492 variant to the variants page and the maps page.

News! [23 October 1999] The Online Resources section has been completely redesigned and updated. Among the features of the new Online Resources section are a total facelift with a brand new appearance, better access to informatoin, improved navigation within the main pages of the section, visual cues to help identify where you are, reorganization of the resources themselves, extensive modifications to the main section pages (a couple of new ones and all existing ones updated). Comments are welcome.

News! [11 October 1999] The Convention Results section of the Pouch has been updated with results from a number of new tournaments, including WDC4 and a great many European (primarially Swedish) tournaments. Be sure to check out the European Results Page.

News! [3 October 1999] The Sherlock Holmes mystery, The Case of the Lethal Alliance underwent a map correction.

News! [29 September 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information about several new conventions.

News! [26 September 1999] The Fall 1999 Movement issue of the Zine is published.
News! [22 September 1999] Added a link to a new expanded Newbies' Guide to the Judge by Tim Miller in the Online Resources section and added a link to a POV raytracer Diplomacy map to the maps page.
News! [19 August 1999] Added a link to Flat Earth Society to the Diplomacy Zines page, and replaced the PowerPoint standard map on the maps page with a nicer one.
News! [17 August 1999] Made several updates to the Diplomacy Mapping Software page (Updated URL and version for DipPlanner, corrected name for Bitmap Diplomacy Mapper and added links to additional information and a new set of bitmaps for it, and did a bit of miscellaneous cleaning up.
News! [15 August 1999] Added a document explaining what you can do to get a game into the showcase section.
News! [13 August 1999] Links to mapping software have now been moved from the maps page to a separate page. The page now features a handy-dandy quick reference table that summarizes platform support and features for all the programs. Feel free to help supply information regarding a couple of question marks in the table.

News! [11 August 1999] Added a b/w standard map to maps page. It's very plain with a small file size for fast download.

News! [09 August 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information about several new conventions..

News! [07 August 1999] The Showcase section of the Pouch was updated with the EOF statements for the pouchtoo game.

News! [29 July 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information about several new conventions.

News! [29 July 1999] The Convention Results section of the Pouch was updated with results from some recent, and some not-so-recent, North American Diplomacy Conventions.

News! [28 July 1999] The American Diplomacy Ratings have been updated, and have been given a new look!

News! [27 July 1999] Another round of updates to the Online Resources section that I didn't get to yesterday: Added new maps for the standard map and the Aberration, Crowded, Loeb9 and Sail Ho! variants to the maps page and the variants page; added links to the War in North America variant home page to the variants page and the maps page, and updated the maps for that variant to the most current version of the variant (version 4); added a link to the Twilight Zone variant to the the variants page; added an article on Playing France in Colonial Diplomacy to the variants strategy page; added a link to YuDip (a Serbian Diplomacy page) to the Non-English Diplomacy page list.

News! [26 July 1999] An assortment of updates to the Online Resources section: Added the Iberian Diplomacy variant to the variants page and the maps page; added a Russian Diplomacy Page to the Non-English Diplomacy page list; and made several updates to the software section of the maps page (added a link to a new page with DipChief maps, added a link to J2Diplo, and added a link to Manusized (color-enhanced) MapIt).

News! [21 July 1999] The Showcase section of the Pouch has had the showcase for pouchtoo added.

News! [20 July 1999] The Upcoming Convention section of the Pouch was updated with information on the Diplomacy tournament as the Dragonflight Gaming Convention in Seattle, Washington

News! [19 July 1999] The Convention Results section of the Pouch has a new look, and has been updated with some new results. Additional updates will continue for the next few days. Our more observent visitors will also notice ongoing maintence throughout the Face to Face section.

News! [17 July 1999] Updated the American Diplomacy Ratings with new results.

News! [28 June 1999] The Spring 1999 Retreat issue of the Zine is published.

News! [11 May 1999] The Spring 1999 Movement issue of the Zine is finally published.

News! [1 May 1999] Added the Pern and Replay variants to the variants pages.

News! [16 March 1999] Added a second Global Diplomacy variant to the variants page and the maps page. Added the ASCII Diplomacy Mapper to the software section of the maps page. Added a couple of new articles to the strategy page.

News! [15 March 1999] Processed most of a big backlog of updates. Added another African variant, European Diplomacy, Latin American Diplomacy, Versailles, and Factional Diplomacy variants to the variants pages and the maps page. Added DipAdvisor and the Windows version of Realpolitik to the maps page. Fixed broken links for the 1600 variant maps and replaced the map for the Imperial variant with a corrected one. Added The Modern Patriot to the zines page.

News! [6 March 1999] Updated the Conventions page with info on DipCon and EuroDipCon.

News! [23 February 1999] The classic book The Game of Diplomacy by Richard Sharp is now available online, on the reference page in the Online Resources section.

News! [1 February 1999] Added the Imperial Diplomacy and Indianomacy II variants to the variants page and the maps page. Fixed the links to a couple of the Asia maps on those pages as well.

News! [29 January 1999] The Winter 1998 Adjustment issue of the Zine is (belatedly) published.

News! [20 January 1999] Added new Aberration and Colonial Diplomacy maps to the variants page and the maps page.

News! [15 January 1999] Added the Ard-Rí variant to the variants page and the maps page.

News! [13 January 1999] Added a number of new opening descriptions and article links to The Library of Opening Moves.

News! [8 January 1999] Added a couple of new articles to the strategy page and the variants strategy page.

News! [7 January 1999] Updated the Conventions page with info on 11 different gaming conventions.

News! [6 January 1999] Links to maps have now been added to the variants page. (An updated count: The Pouch now has links to over 135 variants and over 200 maps.)

News! [5 January 1999] A standard Diplomacy map is now available for Palm Pilots/Palm IIIs on the maps page.

News! [4 January 1999] Added a new mapping aid, DipPlanner, to the software list on the maps page. The maps page, and the variants page have been updated/corrected. There are now two World variants by two different authors, one of which has maps and rules for two different versions.

News! [4 January 1999] Updated the Conventions page with info on WDC9!!!
