Once in London, there should be several hours free for sightseeing, shopping, etc, in the largest city in Europe, before either staying the night in London, or travelling up to Birmingham for the night (to be decided). See the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Regents Park and Hyde Park, shop on Oxford Street and Regents Street, or take a trip on the London Eye, a huge ferris wheel on the banks of the Thames which rotates once every 30 minutes, and gives spectacular views of the entire city.
